We always knew when Nick & Lexi got married that their wedding would have a strong focus on meat. With Nick and his family owning Green Meadows Beef it was easy to create a menu that could showcase their passion for what they produce.
Nick had great contacts from his dealings with other artisan producers while working at many of the country’s Food Shows, so we were able to include products like Bonnie Oat Crackers and cheeses from around the country including Barry’s Bay Peninsula Blue, Meyer Cumin Gouda and Over the Moon OMG Triple Cream Brie. Green Meadows were also able to supply some amazing cured meats for their antipasto platter starters.
Oak Valley provided a stunning setting for the day and with staging by Victoria Jane Weddings, months of planning came together perfectly.
Our favorite part of the day was being able to watch the new Mr & Mrs Carey perform the most amazing wedding dance, including an aerobics interlude that gave us an insight into Lexi’s other passion!
“We can’t say how happy we were and our guests were with everything on Saturday. Everyone was so well fed, so well looked after and they had the best time. The food was incredible, so plentiful and everything ran to plan (despite our lateness!) Really appreciate you guys pulling out the stops.”
